KANSAS SECONDARY PATTERN FOR 3 POINT SHOT

In the top diagram, 5 takes ball out of bounds after basket by opponent and passes to 1.
2 sprints to right wing area while 3 and 4 sprint to the left side (shown in the bottom diagram).

1 dribbles fast downcourt and makes dribble exchange with 2 who dribbles off screen set by 5. If 2 is open for the 3 he can shoot, or he can pass to 3 coming off the flare screen set by 4.This play was run late in the Kansas-Syracuse game when Kansas was trailing and needed a 3 badly.
